Update 12/30/11

So much has happened since joining Spark in February 2007! New friends made...forever BFF that stand by me, encourage me, show me humor share moments of silence but best of all are my Rock. I have made my goal, slipped but because of the beauty of friendships and support found my way back to goal. I am a teeter totter yo-yo to some when it comes to weight. I get into a wonderful healthy groove and allow Life to toss me a few sweets or fall into processed foods because of stress and suffer terribly especially from sugar as I am full blown Adult ADD and sugar is POISON to me. My dear friends and support group have always sometimes unbeknownst to them have always pulled me back into the world of reality, good health and well being...thank you my friends, thank you Spark People I will forever be a part of this site as I cannot go it alone, I need the support of my Spark Family!

My Goals:
Age gracefully (ok thats a hoot)

To enter and complete the Spartan Race in March of 2013. I do not have to be perfect, I just need to DO IT!

To continue building core strength with weights and cardio


My Program:
Looking back over my March 2012 statement of utilizing 10# weights for core I was flabergasted! I am now doing 40# thrusts from a sitting position! Will continue to increase weights for my goal of leaner body mass.

Lover of Australian Shepherds, work in animal rescue and now sharing my heart with a sweet mini aussie we were fostering...which we now own...a Foster Failure and proud of it!

    Hi woman! I miss talking to you. How is it that we have never met face to face, but I feel we are good friends? I am so inspired by you . I have been feeling like a blob lately, but I am trying to get back into shape again. I have that triathlon with my friends in 3 weeks. Yikes!!! It always gets me motivated. Today I pushed myself and found I CAN do 2.5 miles slog if I put my mind to it!!!

    I wish I had an exercise place like you are going to here. At least one close by. I don't even know of one in the metro area here. I shall have to dig a little deeper.

    Anyway. Just a hug and a hello to you!
