5% challenge - Cloverleafs Team

Fitness Minutes: 50,456

My Goals:
I'm a crazy bucket list kind of a girl and it's served me well. By pursuing #1, I hope to be able to accomplish the other things on my list including those listed below.

1) Eat a clean diet, nourish my body, my brain, and find myself feeling better than ever before.

2) Bike 100,000 miles after my 50th birthday. As of 11/26/18, I have 87,320 miles to go!

3) #1 on my bucket list is to spend 3 weeks hiking in the Himalayas somewhere tbd. I've been fascinated with many stories about Mt. Everest ever since I read Jon Krakaer's "Into Thin Air." I have contemplated doing this hike for decades, but gave up on the idea after 2006. In 2016 I had a change of heart, change in hope and made this my #1 goal.

I want to do a hike in this area in the next 3-5 years and am on it! It’s definitely a reach for me. I’m not into crowds and prefer places off the beaten path so I likely will not go to Basecamp 1, but somewhere else in the Himalayas or Tibet. We wil

My Program:
I'm constantly working with this and I read a lot on diet, nutrition, health, etc. I believe in alternative therapies, and the power of the mind.

Deepak Chopra's book "What are you hungry for?" has captured my attention. Healthy eating but also healthy mind-body thoughts I relate well to. We'll see where this goes. (1/26/19)

I'm going back to the Whole30 plan after discussing this with my dr. I also plan to implement some of what Chopra discussed in his book. It made sense. (3/27/19) Ummmm...recommitting. 12/21/19

Just as leaves fall from the trees,
it’s a good time to consider your strongholds
and shed anything that doesn’t serve your spirit
or may be holding you back from reaching your highest potential.
As you let go of dead weight – whether it be habits, beliefs, activities or even people – you make way for new growth.

    It’s a new season.
A perfect opportunity to do something NEW something BOLD something BEAUTIFUL!

Change the way you look @ something & the whole thing will change. It is a shift in perspective & energy. When (you) change . . . everything around (you) changes. Carla Picardi

Hi Janet! I'm still here, just not posting on the Challenge threads. I'm in my own little corner. I don't weigh myself anymore so I don't have challenges to my anorexia. I gained a bunch of weight, but now I'm back on Keto and losing. I don't know how much I've lost since I don't weigh, but I know I've lost. It's hard not knowing, but it's just more healthy for me this way. I got too obsessed with weight and it got bad, so I just don't weigh anymore.
