Introduction Text At the beginning of 2014, I was a 210 lb. couch potato! I wore size 24 pants with elastic waist. I reached the point where I had tried many programs and nothing worked. I was told that the older you get, the slower you metabolism is. I believed I would be fat forever. As a last effort in February 2014, I started Diabetes Prevention Program and it made a world of difference! TODAY, I weigh 130 pounds and wear size 2 jeans. I am happy with my new wardrobe and I am healthier and feel better. Now, at my goal weight, I'm battling with maintaining for the last year. I know I CAN do it and I know I WILL keep those pounds off. I NEVER want to be fat again! But those extra pounds would love to come back. I will fight them!

Healthy eating and exercising. I have also joined TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) for that weekly accountability and person to person encouragement.

I live in the pretty part of Montana west of the divide. I've been married to my husband for 48 years. We have 5 grown sons, 4 daughter in laws, and 7 grandkids. We love the LORD and are active in our local church and community. I enjoy taking elderly to their doctor or medical appointments and teaching Sunday School to the little ones mostly.
