You are always welcome in the SparkPeople Community! If you need a "fresh start", you might like the series of "insider secrets" that have been posted on the "Start" page. I have found that the ideas from those articles have been very helpful in getting going.
Getting stuck is not quite the same as being in a plateau. The discouragement of getting stuck keeps at you because somehow you think you are not good enough. Well, we appreciate you at SparkTeam "Nova Scotians!", and we'd love to know that things are turning around for you, whether or not you choose to post on our Team Page.
Being in a plateau can be maddening. Once, I thought I was doing a lot of things right, for 10 weeks. The scale did not budge, and I was in a program that I was paying to go to meetings every week. And there seemed to be no change in weight. (I still have the journal entries from that period of time - not SparkPeople). And very suddenly, there was a six pound loss, and in the next six weeks, three pounds lost. In a plateau, you realize that you have to keep on, keeping on.
So, when you're ready, take the steps that will bring you back to the routines that will bring you closer to your goals. If you choose to share, great. If not, I'll still be thinking about you. 2865 days ago

"Beautiful Woman Award! Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the wall of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out" 3354 days ago
