My name is Allison. I am a 35 year old mother and teacher. I have often tried to lose weight. I read about this site in People magazine. I thought it would be another option to try. I hope it works.

Fitness Minutes: 420

My Goals:
1. Lose at least 150 lbs in 2 years.
2. Write down everything I eat in a food journal.
3. Drink plenty of water daily.
4. Exercise at least 4 days a week for 40 to 50 minutes.
5. Get healthier
6. Feel better about myself.
7. Walk the Cooper River Bridge Run in April.
8. Eventually be able to run a half marathon and then a whole marathon.
9. Be able to jog without pain.
10. Not have foot pain every morning.


My Program:
Keeping an honest food diary of everything I eat.

Working out at the gym at least 4 days a week. I am doing cardio for 40 to 50 minutes each time.

Cut out soda, tea, sweets (my weakness), fast food, fried foods.



Personal Information:
I am a 35 year old mom and teacher. My daughter is 6 years old and the light of my life. I love her dearly. I want to lose weight so I can be around for her as long as possible. Lately, my blood pressure has been elevated. Not only do I want to lose weight to look great, but also to be healthier. Diabetes runs in my family. I hope that by losing weight I can prevent it from happening to me.

    Yikes! My weekly check in has turned to a monthly one....I was here a month ago to the day! Hope you are still keeping encouraged!!

    I've let the exercise slip the last two weeks...one week due to sickness and the next due to being crazy-busy. I'm back on track now though...and am aiming to see some more progress...
