Confessions of a Snackaholic
My name is Antoinette and I like snacks lol. But seriously I am someone you should get to know when you are REALLY ready for some changes. At my heaviest "recorded" weight I was 346.2 lbs. And let me tell you, I had no idea I had gained that much weight. Dealing with depression after having surgery to remove fibroids on my 25th birthday was just the beginning of my tailspin of allowing myself to lose control. I love me, I love my body, I do NOT want to be skinny as my personality is just TOO ...

And let me tell you, I had no idea I had gained that much weight. Dealing with depression after having surgery to remove fibroids on my 25th birthday was just the beginning of my tailspin of allowing myself to lose control. I love me, I love my body, I do NOT want to be skinny as my personality is just TOO BIG for that body to support. Healthy is all I want to be, so I can have some babies and play with them and be around to see my grandbabies. So my journey began after stepping on a scale in 2007 and I saw I was a number 2 from Wendys away from 350. I haven't looked back since.
Everything doesn't work for everybody so I only can speak about my success. I stopped eating pork, fried foods, full fat dairy products, added more fruits and veggies to my meals, switched to whole wheat pasta and brown rice and increased my water intake to half my body weight in ounces daily (so I was 350 I drank about 175 oz of water a day which is almost 3 gallons a day! Whew!!) I worked out 4 times a week at a gym and attended water aerobics twice a week. I found something that I enjoyed to do physically and stuck to it.
Now almost 3 years later, Im just stuck at a plateau, simple because I've been lazy and uninspired. This young lady on here once said "Log off and get some of your own results, stop sitting around looking at everybody elses success" and I can't help but to agree with her. Get yourself some offline support as well, it makes all the difference finding someone in your area that may be looking for a buddy just like you.
I am a renegade, so again what works for me may not work for you. I dont journal my food or count calories on paper, I guesstimate but I have a pretty good understanding of what I should be eating so I dont feel like I have to. I will have something naughty when I want to every now and then and my rule of thumb- more than a taste, less than a serving- and truly I am satisfied. ( I just had a pint of haagen daz-Vanilla Swiss Almond- that took me four days to eat opposed to the good old days when I could eat 4 in a day!

I still dont have any goals and I may never have any. I am a free spirit and I just want to go with the flow. Just staying focused and sticking to my routine at WHATEVER COST is rewarding enough.
Really I want people to see me and understand my struggle and know they can achieve what they believe in. If this fat girl can lose weight, surely anyone else can. I am only improving on my flawless design, cuz he dont make no mistakes! (but he told me a lil rennovation is ok lol)
....Im jis tryna live better...My goal is to continue to press forward and not look back...I hope to inspire and encourage others to want the same...I choose life over cookies...that sounds silly but its really the truth....whatever vice may be over you- be it sex food drugs alcohol it can ultimately take your life engaging excessively and not cautiously...I by far dont have all the answers but Im gettin along pretty good so far.
My Program:
EXERCISE: Gym, cycling, water aerobics...not necessarily in that order.
HYDRATION: WATER,H2O,AQUA,
NATURES NECTAR...gets no more important than that. Im currently and will continue to drink half my body weight in ounces daily. Its only hard if you think it is or you want it to be.
NOURISHMENT:
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day as it sets the tone for the rest of the day. This meal I have on lock already.madness. My motto is: If I didnt bring it, I dont eat it.
Personal Information:

Deathly allergic to cats (like Lea lol)
Lipgloss-check, earrings-check mascara-check. Let the day begin.
I only chew green gum. Fruity, minty doesn’t matter as long as its green.
I love classic 80s movies, 90s RnB music.
Im addicted to SciFi, aliens, space travel, warewolfs and vampires.
Im extremely shy and hate public speaking (which is only believeable online says everyone I know)
