I am a single mom with two kids. I think parents need to teach their kids how to live a healthy lifestyle. Eat the right foods and exercise to stay healthy, make it a normal part of their life. I have eaten pretty good but once a week go off and eat a lot!! However, I have never been good about exercising... but I am going to change that and let my kids see that is it a good thing to eat right and exercise to be healthy and feel good.

My Goals:
To be healthy weight. Learn what foods are the better choice for me and my kids.

My Program:
I have always eater right but either had to many or not enough calories. I am learning how to find the right amount of nutrition and the right amount of exercise to lose and then maintain a healthy lifestyle

I love doing challenges the first challege was Jillian Michaels 30 day shred completed 5/17/11 I felt awesome completing it and made me want to exercise more!!
Currently I am doing Bikini Bootcamp with coach Nicole (which I am loving all the online workouts!!)
I also am doing Zumba dvd's at home for at least 60 mins a day. Love the way they make me feel after the workout.

I would like to add running into my exercising, I just need to find the right time and someone to watch my kids!!

Personal Information:
Ny name is Amber I live in Southen California. I have two kids 6yrs and 2yrs that I adore. I work full time as an office manager in a job I like. I started my weight loss the beginning of this year and I hope that I will be at my first goal weight of 140lbs by 10/22/11 (which is my birthday) and from their I am going to see how I feel whether I want to lose more!!

Other Information:
I love to read!! I also love movies. If I am not out and about with my kids you can normally find me reading a book. I can now say I love to exercise.... It is hard and makes me tired but it also puts me in a wonderful mood and mindset.

    Hope you are doing well. I have been checking on the site with my nutrition and fitness but have been neglecting the social aspect of it :( We have been traveling quite a bit and things have been crazy busy.     Hi Amber, Just wanted to check in and see how your week is going. I really appreciate all of your positive remarks on my page. (How do you make comments to someone's feed - I haven't figured that out yet).

    Anyway, hope you have a great weekend. We are attending 2 graduations and 1 graduation party and one of them is in Houston so there is going to be a LOT of time in the car (boo). I'm packing my apples though to keep me on track - no naughty foods for me :)

    Hi Amber, Thanks for all the positive remarks, I really appreciate it. How's your week going so far? Things here are good and I'm staying within my calories. Had a great Pilates workout today and even did the swan pose today (that was my big achievement for the day, lol). I also did 20 minutes on the elliptical after Pilates which I'm telling you almost killed me. My legs were so tired from Pilates. Tomorrow is my workout with my Personal Trainer and I know he will kick my butt in all directions :) I haven't weighed myself yet b/c TOM so maybe next week. I hope to be down at least 2 lbs. You look like you are doing so well, I'm proud of you! Take care, Kelli
