Now it is 2020. I have still not accomplished my goals. I am leaving the entries below to remind me of all the steps along the journey. I just left NOOM as I want the specificity of the numbers on SP. Being plant-based, I want to know the nutrition numbers. I want to know I am making my protein, carb, fiber and fat limits. What's different is I go regularly to Anytime Fitness and now, I signed up for the premium plan here on SP... so here we go again.

The entry below was in 2016.... Here we are and it is 2019 and I never got to 136#. Not even close. Once again, I lost and gained and lost and gained and I am back here on SP at 171#. My dog got sick and we no longer put in the miles or the pace. I've gained this 20lbs this year. Plant based all the while but now will be back at alternate day fasting. One step in front of the other....onward.

Back in 2016:
Been on SP for a while now. Lost and gained and lost and gained a few pounds here and there, but the progress is overall downward. Found intermittent fasting in 2013, lost weight- was only 11 pounds from goal. Went on the road in 2014, lost my father and my husband diagnosed with same, dreadful disease... Lost my way for awhile, but I wanted to get to goal (136#)in 2015. Here we are moving into 2016 and I gained AGAIN. So back to being more regimented and actively work a 4:3 fasting program. We have landed in Cape Coral, Florida for now. I've had significant relief from the arthritis in my knees and feet after having lost weight. So I know this is the best bet. Florida is such a flat land, so I need to up my game to get the benefits I use to have from walking my hills in Duluth, Minnesota. Will continue to make the most of my retirement.

10 hour eating window/14 hour fast. Reduce calories and increase exercise.

    I may try to do a few days where I got even lower carb but we’ll see. I’m try to just be patient for now and happy that I’m maintaining but it’s also frustrating with as active and healthy eating as I am.

    Thanks for blog comment! YES that’s how I feel with the carbs. I only eat one carb item a day and it’s still not a horrible one, still healthy and I really don’t want to do no carb. I don’t believe it is sustainable or good for the body.

    I saw your beautiful picture on the member feed and had to visit your page to find out the location! Florida! I share a lot of your challenges. After MUCH research, I've finally accepted the fact that I am in that group of people that has a low tolerance for carbohydrates. Fasting 18/6, with an occasional 23/1, works great. BUT I'm still learning how many carb grams I can eat before the weight gain creep moves in. Good luck on your journey!
