    Thanks for the info about the skin color change. I have noticed it is fading this last day or so. I am not sure what it is and I am so busy that lol I have no idea if I put something on it that would have caused it. Appreciate the info though.

    I wasn't trying to follow any particular plan. Just eating clean. I don't eat cheese either. I just eliminated a lot of processed and refined mainly. Will check on the Mediterranean diet though.

    Ok researched 2 things that don't make it the same. Is that I don't use lots or even tbsp's of oil. I may use a tsp.
    And the dairy, no dairy here, at all. I just eat clean foods.

    I have been hearing a lot about Paleo. I might have to research that. It's looking a lot more like Atkins. And since I don't eat that much meat, I doubt if I will be trying it.

    Are you doing Atkins? I remember years ago, I was on Atkins, and I used to use pork rinds for like a flour after processing them and then coating my Frying chicken with them. I also ate them like candy, no wonder we have problems. I got rid of all my GMO and hydrogenated ingredient foods, a long time ago, even before I got down and dirty with whole foods. I was seeing even before my diagnosis, what was bad for me. But when I was told I had the big "D" that's when I went full force, and have given up so much more. I may incorporate Greek yogurt into my plan, still deciding. It is pretty good for you, if you eat plain, and add your own stuff to it, and it is a good source of calcium which I don't think I am getting enough of.

    My bad I just saw that you follow Atkin's plan.
