I am a mom of three kids (ages 10, 7 and 5) who works full time outside the home and wants to become a healthier (and thinner) verison of me.

I've attempted to begin this journey many, many times, but I have never had the right attitude. This time I have changed my attitude and I am determined to become healthier. My eating habits are being changed and I am becoming more active. No more "quick fixes" for this girl!

My Goals:
* Change my eating habits by tracking my meals at least 5 days a week.

* Become more active on a regular basis. Includes walking/jogging program 3x a week and additional cardio 2x a week of at least 30 mins.

* Have more energy to keep up with my kids and not always feel so tired.

*Be able to jog a 5k in 30 mins. Want to be able to do this by the end of 2011 at the latest.

My Program:
Currently doing the Spring into Summer Bootcamp Challenge and the 5k Walking program.

I plan to gradulally increase my distance and speed until I can jog a 5k in 30 mins. (10 min mile!) Currently I am averaging about a 17 - 16 min mile walking only (this is improved from the 18 - 19 min mile when I first started!)

Personal Information:
My name is Angela. I am 36 years old and have been married for almost 16 years to my high school sweetheart. We have three children - a daughter who is soon to be 10 and boys ages 6 1/2 and 5.

I work full time outside the home in a job where I spend most of my day in a chair in front of a computer.

I started gaining weight after I got married - very slowlys so it was not very noticeable at first. Once I started having children though I was never able to fully get rid of the baby weight.

I'm tired of being tired all the time and not feeling healthy. I'm tired of none of my clothes fitting well. I'm determined to make loose weight this time and keep it off. I'm determine to make some lifestyle changes that will stick.

Other Information:
I love to read and write.

Favorite authors include Ted Dekker and Francine Rivers.

Favorite books include the Circle Trilogy, Mark of the Lion Trilogy, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Gone with the Wind.
