I've been collecting yarn and have my next several projects planned out. The only problem is: I keep seeing more projects to do, and then the yarn really piles up. I finally broke down and bought a kit for my needles. It was half off at Michaels and contains them really well. So yes, I understand the addiction, and fortunately I have a very understanding hubby. 1318 days ago

I am so happy to hear that you enjoy your work AND had a great review. I used to dread those things - but most of the time they turned out to be better than I expected.

Thanks Ann, that's what I'm working toward. I always feel so much better when I do what I intend to do instead of putting it off! But it's so easy to put things off sometimes! 1644 days ago

Yes, it always sucks when we end up in what I consider a sub-par hotel. I was a corporate event planner so I know what to look for and I read all the reviews - but sometimes you miss something. We travel with Daisy (our medium sized dog) and I think they put all the dog people in the last wing, the one that hasn't been refurbished. There were pieces of molding missing, white flakes of something on the floors, the bed sunk, the pillows were flat and the towels were barely there. But we survived, left earlier than planned, met a friend of mine for a picnic lunch and a nice break in the drive and arrived home by 6:30 p.m. - amazing time! I'll have to be more careful next time! 1661 days ago

I love my head lamp! I don't use it very often but it sure comes in handy every so often. I always bring it with me when I know we're going to be traveling at night. I hate riding in the car when it's dark, you can't see anything. So I can put it on and read or knit, and it helps when I need to look at the maps too! It was absolutely a life-saver last night!
We have a generator too and would have pulled it out if the electricity hadn't come back on so quickly. Thankfully they do a pretty good job around here with the power issues! 1700 days ago
