Welcome! If you need a shoulder, a friend or a virtual coffee at some point, drop by and say hello! I've just celebrated my SP eleven month anniversary and am amazed at the absolutely incredible amount of support I've received for weight loss and so much more. This is a fabulous site and you will be astounded at what you get out of it if you give it your all.
To celebrate your arrival at SP in this late-summer season, I would like to wish you a everlasting renewal of energy and passion, for this is a time to celebrate the great potential you possess. May the sun shine upon you and fire up your heart to reach all of your goals and find joy in yourself and the world around you. Whatever battles you are fighting, whatever stresses may come your way, may you find energy, confidence, vitality and strength. This is the time to shine bright and show the world how beautiful you are. Embrace the summer-lit brilliance of each day and you will create a new life where all your wildest dreams come true. ~ Michelle
I just wanted to say I hope you are doing well, today. Keep with your goals and try to do at least 10 minutes of exercise in a chair or on the bed, or light walking. I have confidence in you. Be careful with you food. Be sure to plan it out the day before or early in the day. I have found if I wait to plan my food up in the day, that I eat more calories for a meal then needed. Than I have to plan the rest of my meals and snacks on a skinny calorie range so I don't go over. Not fun. Spread out you meals and snacks during your waking hours. Mini meals and snacks keep you from being hungry. Have one small dark chocolate piece from Dove each night for part of your last snack. My doctor says it is very good for your heart. But remember just one small piece. Drink your water. It is good for your skin, your brain, and replenishes your whole body. Don't allow the words "I give up or I can't do this" come into your thoughts or words. You have the strength of GOD to help you today and each day. You are stronger than you think. You can do this. Repeat these things to yourself everyday. Be positive and what the blessing come. Remember you are and you are well worth all the work and effort you are putting into to your healthy lifestyle. You are changing yourself into a . You are headed for more freedom to move, live life, enjoy the one's you love, and be a healthier you. God is with you and loves you. Jeremiah 29:11 3160 days ago

Slow is good when you are first starting out. That is great progress. Just as I said baby steps. That's how I had to start out, too. Those small changes are a huge victory. Celebrate it! That means there are more changes to come. It takes a long time, but when the day comes that you realize that you can do things you hadn't done for a long while, you can bless the LORD, be proud of the hard work you are doing, and celebrate success. It's just around the corner. I am so excited for you. Since I have already been through the stage you are in, I know the joy that will be coming your way. Congratulations. I am doing great. I walked 2 miles in 45 minutes today. Now that is not the average time to walk. The average is to walk a mile in 15 minutes. But I will get there. I am determined. God bless you and walk with you each day as you manage you healthy lifestyle. Keep up the good work. It will pay off. 3161 days ago

The Weight of the Nation was a miniseries on HBO. It's probably available online somewhere. It has a lot of information that I found very interesting and you will too. Severe overweight has been on the rise since the early 1980s and there are factors besides overeating and being lazy at play. It's nice to be aware of these other factors as we try to deal with our exra pounds. Keep on doing what you need to do and you will see results. Bless you! 3162 days ago
