Introduction Text I was told by my doctor that if I don't lose the weight I am going to die. I've developed many health problems related to being over weight. I am & will admit addicted to food. This is going to be a struggle for me. Doctors & family are pushing for me to do this, but sometimes you need the encouragement from outsiders too. I welcome anyone who is willing to help me with this process.......

-To lose the weight -Gain my health back -Increase my selfesteem -To become pain free -To obtain more energy - To be able to go places without people judging me -To be able to watch my grandkids grow up & if God willing their kids

-Portion control -No sugar -Low carb -High protien -Lots of veggies (helps to fill in gaps) -6 small meals a day (as directed by doctor) -Meds (directed by doctor) -Exercise (starting out slowly & working my way up due to health problems) -Choosing foods from list developed by doctor -Healthy cooking (cook yourself thin) -Using Spark!

I am married with 4 children and 3 grandkids. I have always been extremely over weight, even as a child. I weighed 260lbs a majority of my life. @ 6'1" tall I was able to carry the weight very well until the rapid weight gain I put on this past year. I ballooned up to 325 lbs! I have had a recent weight loss of 5 lbs. before starting Spark. I've lost weight in the past, but was never able to keep it off for more than a year. I am an emotional eater. I have considered weight loss surgery, but was informed by doctors that it's really a waste of money. They stated that many people who have the surgery gain the weight back and under go the surgery again. Due to health problems I am required to lose the weight rapidly at first. Then slow it down some.

I am open to suggestions, etc.....
