It's a new day could never be more than true. Day 4 of back on the challenge track. Day 4 of counting everything I eat and drink and getting back to exercising. All healthy. So difficult when I've been so lazy, just sitting back, eating and drinking and just relaxing, not taking care of myself. And I let myself down. Gained weight and at my heaviest; hair is not healthy; skin is breaking out and I am certain my blood pressure and sugar are not good.
Time to care for myself. Stop the happy hours with the husband that happened every day; stop the big meals (that unfortunately he loves); and for once put what is best for me first.
On the bright side, think of all of the money I'll save from not buying so many bottles of wine?

Fitness Minutes: 11,577

My Goals:
To lose at least 40 lbs.; to regain muscle and my happy self again.


My Program:
I have joined WW and today is day 5. I am doing a 3-mile walk with family today; Monday and Wednesdays are Jazzercise (I will most likely pass out) and Thursdays are weigh-ins.



Personal Information:
Shorty; enjoy life; love dogs (three rescues); cup half full, but mostly overflowing. Count my blessings including friends, family, and health. Stay out of political & religion discussion; everyone has a belief and no one should judge, argue or step on them.


Other Information:
Believe that you should always tell those that you love, that you love them every time you leave them. Wish I could go back and say that to my Dad one more time. He used to say God gave me today; didn't promise me tomorrow and woke up this morning, so I have another chance; words to live by.

    Thank you for the great comment on my blog. You know, that IS one of MY personal changes as well. Almost immediately after cutting out simple carbs completely, all my heartburn went away. That's saying something too because for years I had to take anywhere from 2 to 5 (sadly occasionally even more) heartburn pills every day. Suddenly... I think I've taken 2 one time in the last four months. I was so concentrated on the positive effects that hubby's doctor's visit showed, I wasn't even thinking about the health effects like that, the changes have made for me (of course the weight loss and ability to move more I have been concentrating on, lol). Thanks for reminding me of a biggie that I hadn't even acknowledged to myself.
