Thank you for commenting on my blog "Woohoo! My ankle is healing." When my ankle injury started, I used the spark web search for my 1 SparkPoint to research up on it. Since I could limp, I didn't need to see a doctor, but was told it would take a few weeks to heal and to follow RICE. It said if I wasn't seeing any improvement in a few weeks, I would need to see a doctor so I've been following that and wearing an ACE bandage and it's helping. I have found out these last 2 days that if I walk too much, the pain starts to come back. It will be like a twinge so definitely not 100% yet, but yes, I'm learning that I need to take injuries seriously so I can heal.

Thank you for your comment on my "demoralized but moving on" blog. Thanks for sharing your experience - I know I'm not the only person struggling, but it's nice to hear from someone going through it too.

Yep, I definitely am more of a tackle-the-goals kind of person than run-from-the-goals type. It's not actually doing it that's the problem - it's doing enough of it everyday to see the results. I think age and sedentary work environment have combined into a new challenge for me....the workouts and nutrition regimen that was more successful in the past isn't cutting it now. I've been mixing things up, trying to find a good path again, but so far no luck. So I am focusing very diligently on the basics (exercise, nutrition, and tracking).

Congratulations to you on getting back on track! Best of luck on your fitness journey!

Thank you so much for your comments on my "giving up" blog. I'm not really giving up, but sometimes when we're busy and trying to do it "all" it gets to be too much. My solution for dinner tonight is Stouffer's lasagna. Stick it in the over, make a salad with a little garlic bread and all 5 of us will have a nice meal. Tomorrow night it will be back to just the 2 of us and it will be leftovers or something even simpler...eating out. I'm happy to see the kids; happy to see the kids go home! LOL!! Thanks again!
