Introduction Text I'm Mom to two grown sons and Granny to one grand-daughter; all in other states. I live with Hubby and two adopted dogs in Florida. My interests are quite varied; among them reading and scrapbooking.

My goals are to become healthier and more fit, look better and feel more confident. I want to spend more time with out-of-state family members. Now that it's time to plant, I want to make a small herb garden and plant tomatoes.

I'm being much more selective about what and how much I eat, drinking more water, keeping records, moving more and enjoying my support group.

Originally from New England, I've been in Florida for many years. I also lived upon the mountain in N. Georgia for some years. I just turned 62, am married with two grown sons, two grand-daughter and two dogs.

I enjoy car travel, taking pictures, scrapbooking, counted cross stitch, reading and my garden. I like Civil War era books and movies, flowers and birds, scenery and mild breezes.
