Just imagine for a minute you're walking through a grassy field. The tall, soft grass skimming your fingers. The sun shining so bright and just hugging you. The sounds of birds chirping and bees buzzing in the distance. That right there is HOW I want to feel on the inside every day. I will get there. I can already feel the sun shining down on me and it's amazing! My ultimate goal is to lose the weight and keep it off for 5 years and after that happens GO TO JAPAN! They just have so many cool things there and I REALLY want to go.

My Goals:
Starting weight- 306lbs 3/1/13

10lbs- 4/2013
25lbs- 6/2013
50lbs-
75lbs-
100lbs-
115lbs-
130lbs-

Final goal weight-
150lbs

My Program:
The first thing I've focused on is drinking LOTS more water. This was/is mostly to replace the 2liter soda a day habit I had.

Next, I've focused on staying within my calorie limits. This is tough for me, but I can DO this if I budget wisely.

Next, I started working out just 1 day a week. I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but for someone who doesn't move a whole lot that is bound to get the party started. After 4 weeks, I'll add another day and so on until I'm up to 6 days a week doing 30 minutes or more a day.

Personal Information:

Other Information:
I haven't really thought about my rewards for while I'm losing weight, but I have thought about my 5 year maintenance goal. After I get to my goal weight and keep it off for 5 years I want to take a trip to Japan with my family. It's a place I've always dreamed of going and I can't wait to get there.

Thanks for commenting on my blog "Super Obese? Nope... Not ME! (picture)".

I actually never realized how brightly I was smiling in the picture. I suppose you can tell how proud I am of this moment.

Thank you so much for your support!

Hey! Sorry it has taken me this long to reply to your comment on my blog post about the smoothies. The short answer is YES! spinach works great. I actually used to use spinach but switched to kale last fall when I started buying large bags of fresh, baby kales at Costco. I then freeze them and use them for cooking and in smoothies. I have done that with spinach, too.

Have you tried baby kales? I also find mature kale leaves too bitter, but LOVE baby kales. I find they have an almost citrus-y flavor. I love them so much better than cooked spinach (which isn't bad), and less earthy in smoothies than spinach was. One thing to maybe watch out for if you put spinach in your smoothies is to avoid using too many strawberries with it. I found that too many strawberries and spinach together made it too earthy for my liking. But, just play around and have fun. I hope you find smoothie recipes you like! I love making smoothies. They're one of the best parts of my day. I don't do it every day, but I try to do it several times a week. They taste good and I always feel good after them, too.
