Because we're used to rewarding ourselves with food. It's a tough habit to break, trust me. I'm giving myself rewards when I do something good for myself. My favorite one is a wallet that I really liked, that I bought when I did two baby steps every day for a week. Every time I pull it out, it reminds me that change may not be easy, but it can be done! The next time the scales go down, get yourself a new lipstick or nail polish (another reward I gave myself was mascara :-). I hope this helps,

Betty, I hear you there. I created one book here called recipes to TRY. one I am doing on my old cook books that my mom used to use, and I am going to be doing one later of recipes from magazines that my mother in law has given me to try :)
As I do them, then I'll start making notes, but a great way to unclutter my house and hopefully keep down the dust around me too and new recipes to try :)
How are you doing today? Going to try and get some wii in today while boys are at school and after I get my laundry going. Just finishing up my coffee first.

I am so glad to have brighten your day, just stopping by, you brightened mine as well :) Just take it one day at a time, and don't beat yourself up over it. You WILL get there. Just take this time to figure out what you did that might have set you back so you don't repeat it.
