Hi and welcome! I've gone up and down with my weight for most of my adult life and have lost and regained over three hundred pounds collectively. In 2012, I was in a good place, worked out consistently, lost seventy pounds and completed a half marathon which never in my wildest dream would I have thought possible. I was also nine pounds short of being at a healthy weight (which I haven't seen since my late teens), and at my strongest and healthiest than I've ever been. As time went on my old ways set back in again. I don't know if it was out of laziness, complacency, over confidence or all of the above but I gained the weight back and lost my stamina and muscle condition too. Hopefully with the support of SparkPeople I'll regain my determination, commitment and focus to be in the best shape possible. My Program:
High starch, low fat whole food plant based.
About an hour of yoga, 10+ mins of walking and 5000+ steps a day.
Around 8-9 hours of sleep (at least 5 solid hours without tossing and turning)
Adequate hydration (at least 64 oz water, green tea)

Personal Information:
I enjoy word games, Stephen King books, jigsaw puzzles, ziplining, horseback riding, poker, discovering yummy fragrances, dancing, OSDM, interior decorating, herbal and naturopathic medicine, and all things bohemian. Currently re-learning spanish, french and japanese for fun and brain health. I quit smoking twenty two years ago, soda and alcohol six years ago and will be celebrating my 40th wedding anniversary this year (2020).

Other Information:
Doing something good for my health to make progress every day, that's my plan. Even if I don't see progress, I know it's happening on the inside and eventually it will show on the outside.

    Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.

    When you wake up each morning, focus on your purpose for today.
