Introduction Text I am happily married to a wonderful man named Jim. I have two children of my own and two step. I have SO enjoyed taking this journey with other people who understand. I joined Spark in January of 08 and lost 21 lbs and then just hit a stand still and then gained some back so Jim and I jumped in full tilt in January of 09 and I had lost 46 lbs as of July .I had a back injury and 2 bouts of plantar facitis and I gained all my weight back....January 10 of 2016 I began the weight loss journey again with a fabulous nutrition company and have lost 82lbs and am almost to my original goal weight..... l....I LOVE the friends that I have made here on Spark People...they are AMAZING!!!

I have really tried to focus on not dieting but just changing my lifestyle to eat healthier, drink plenty of water, and get in the appropriate amount of cardio and strength training. I have a goal weight of 150-160!!

My husband and I are doing this together now.....we have had great success by eating low fat and low sugar foods...we eat whole grain and high fiber...lots of veggies and fruits. We both drink 8 + glasses of water everyday!!
