A Captain with a Mission


I am the Captain of The Salvation Army of Alpena, MI. I have struggled with my weight for many years, since my pre-teens, and have used many diet programs that have just not worked due to my extremely busy work schedule. I am hoping to eliminate some of my excuses and get down to business so I can have even greater fullment in my ministry to family, my people, and my community

    Jason, you take a giant step by moving onto this difficult path. Although some day's movement may seem like only baby steps, and sometimes even big steps backward, each day that you stand determined to make the reaching of this goal an important part of your life will strengthen your faith in your ability to achieve what may seem to be the unachievable. A little faith goes a long way. May we find the little bit of the Promised Land we seek as we work diligently and tirelessly for the good of others. I look forward to us getting out of that desert, and, hopefully, this will be achieved in more like forty days or weeks and not forty years!
