That is a quick trip! Maybe next time you'll have to time to stop. Really? In May? Congratulations!!! That will be a nice change for you. Any big plans to travel after? Or big sewing projects?

What a great surprise!!! I'm glad you were able to celebrate with family.

I'm doing good. Still plugging along at Micron. My daughter is a sophomore at BSU and my son is actually handing in his homework and going to school every day! Loving it!

Are you heading my way anytime soon? We should try to have lunch or coffee or something!

I did a blog tonight that will give you a tip on what I have been up to lately. Outside of my trip, I have my camera in hand, taking pictures. We bought some new Rose Bushes and planted those. I will get pics of that project soon. That is sad about the Hawks. I was out there yesterday. It is so different without the Hawks flying around. I hope a new pair shows up this year, and claim the tree. I hope you are doing ok. I'm glad you are still counting your steps. And a new camera. emoticon
What type did you get? Thanks for thinking of me. That puts a smile on my face! emoticon
    Hugs,

Oh Barb, your quilting is delightful! I enjoyed the gallery at you blog site. I'm jealous of your longarm machine. If I'd gotten into quilting 20 years ago I'd definitely would have had to get one. But....who knows what the future holds! (I can see MY DH rolling HIS eyes...) I started my embroidery business 10 years ago with my best friend, a seamstress who owns a dry cleaners. We have a 16 needle Melco Amaya. We call her the Princess. Unfortunately we don't get much opportunity for creativity, although we do embroider a huge variety of items for various folks and organizations, it's mostly logos and names and other text. All this time and I still don't know how to use it to applique..... emoticon emoticon
