I'm back after a few years, and almost as overweight as when I started the journey several years ago. This picture is of me and my Bella who recently passed away. She was my baby, my companion who helped me through my separation and divorce. I lost her a month ago. Its been just a year since I lost my dad.
Losing my dad was really hard and am now mourning my dog. Most of the time, I am good, and am strong but on those off days, it is tough. I am trying to help my mom as much as I can from almost 5 hrs away and try to be there for my daughters who are now grown. With that, I've allowed myself to fall pretty down the priority ladder. Soothing myself with comfort foods have muffled the pain and loneliness I feel. Which is weird because I have a loving boyfriend . If anyone out there can relate, I'd love to hear how you are managing it.

Fitness Minutes: 26,554

My Goals:
My short term goal is to lose 15 pounds in 2 months. That may be too optimistic but that is my goal.
My long term goal is to fit back into my size 8 jeans this summer. That is approx. 2 sizes.

My Program:
I plan to use the nutrition tracker consistently. I also plan to blog regularly to work out my feelings and I want to take time every day just for me to reflect on the journey.
I plan to begin swimming again and to continue running.

Personal Information:
I am a mom of 3 grown daughters and a teacher.
I have a wonderful boyfriend and some good friends.

Other Information:
Favorite movie---has to be Dirty Dancing.

Love to watch a good mystery or detective show on tv.

I stay away from those who are arrogant, obnoxious or insensitive.
Life is too short.
