Sailing to my new lifestyle!!
Updated goals: My new goals for the rest of the year (2018), are to attain a goal weight of 172. It's not as low as I the original goal weight, but it's more attainable.
My daily step goal is 10,000 per day, except maybe for Wednesday. I sail every Wednesday and it's difficult to get the extra exercise in.
I KNOW I can do this!!!
My short term goal is 175 for my new 10-week challenge that started on September 5th.

I want to lose a total of 30 lbs, and I'm not putting a final date down this time. I have several interim goals.
We've got a few cruises before the end of the year, so I'm going to hope for maintaining or a slow loss. I'll be happy if I don't gain!!
I know I can do it!!!!

My Goals:
My goal weight is 155.
Starting weight: 198.5
Starting date: 03/01/18
Mini goals/dates:
Sept. 17th - 183
Oct. 15th - 180
Oct. 31st - 179
Nov. 15th - 176
Nov. 30th - 175
Dec. 31st - 172
The reason for these dates are trips and/or company associated with them.
My Program:
My husband & I are watching our carb intake, trying to stay below 40 grams a day. We started at 20 grams and have slowing worked our way up to 40. On occasion, we will drop down to help with plateauing.
We plan on an occasional "cheat day" to reward us when we've accomplished a goal.
My exercise goal is to burn 400 + calories a day, and to get in at least 30 minutes a day of exercise with one day of rest a week.
I know I can do this and by December of 2019, I want to be at my goals.
Personal Information:
My name is Carol and I live in Florida. I love to sail, play bass guitar in our band, and cruise with my husband.

Other Information:
I need to be directed in the correct direction. I'm easily sidetracked, when it comes to dieting and exercise. I'm working on solving that issue!!!

Happy Dawg of the Day to you Carol! I'll happily dog paddle around with you, if we can find some nice warm tropical water to swim in. Temps in the low 40's here today. Hope your day has been special.
