I need to get moving and eating a balanced diet. With the help of the Spark community I will succeed!!. "At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us." -AS I started a tiny group called Walking, Walking, Walking so I could chart my walking AND my blood sugar. I need to get moving and eating a balanced diet. With the help of the Spark community I will succeed!!. "At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us." -AS I started a tiny group called Walking, Walking, Walking so I could chart my walking AND my blood sugar. I made it for Diabetic Walkers. I am so thankful for the members that have kept it going!! I had a heart bypass and am still trying to regain the stamina I had before the heart problems started . I need to get way more active as well as lose the weight I gained since the operation. I will do this!! The following is an excerpt from the lyrics to the song at the end of "The Polar Express" (semi-animated movie with Tom Hanks). Although this song is about believing in the magic of Christmas, it also spoke to me of the need to believe in ourselves .... Believe in what your heart is saying, hear the melody that's playing, There's no time to waste; there so much to celebrate. Believe in what you feel inside; give your dreams the wings to fly. You have everything you need, if you just believe. If you just believe. If you just believe. If you just believe... Just believe... Just believe!

I lost 75 pounds the first Spark Year and my goal this new Spark Year is to lose 50 more.
My Program:
Control carbs using the nutrition tracker. Keep blood sugar below 120 every day. Walk and use dumbbells every day. Be active on SP.
