Introduction Text Hello Spark People. I joined because I think outside support makes a huge difference in keeping focused on health goals. I've been heavy all my life. Food is more of a problem than exercise. I lost 90 lbs in 2001, and then . . . gained it all back over 5 years. Bummer! But I continue to exercise, and I'm mostly concerned about overall health right now. I am the queen of gentle exercise. I do low-impact aerobic dance (otherwise known as bopping around my living room); belly dance, walking, water aerobics, and strength training. I recently had a hysterectomy, and lost my appetite (temporarily, unfortunately). It brought home to me how much I look to food for comfort. I'm struggling with that, and with reducing my food intake. Stuff about me: I'm an old hippie chick. I live in the high, dry desert of Texas. I work in a law office. I am passionate about body modification, especially body piercing. I will be grandmother to 8 grandkids by the end of 2009. Confused yet?

Make better food and health choices; exercise every day for the rest of my life.
