Hello and Welcome to my SparkPage,

My name is Patricia, I am 5'7" and I currently weigh 167lbs. After my third child I went from being a sexy 145 to a whopping 181 during my final pregnancy. It has always been easy for me to lose weight but now I am having a very hard time trying to get rid of this baby phat. This weight didn't just magically appear and it won't magically disappear. It will take hard work, dedication, portion control, eating healthy, execising, and a positive attitude. But no one can really assist me on this journey but me, I have to be willing to make a change, and I have. I have rededicated my life to getting a healthy and fit body.

My Goals:
My goal is to go from 167lbs to 150lbs, eat healthy small meals 6 times a day , exercise , take vitamin supplements and eventually make this a lifestyle change.
I want to eventually start running.

My Program:
*Karate class
*Walking instead of sitting at work
*Staying active at home
*Eating right and proportionally
*Positive affirmations

Personal Information:
I am from Greenville, MS and moved here to Memphis in 2001 where I had my daughter. I gained 70 lbs. during my pregnancy . Went from 145 to close to 200 lbs in 9 months. I have 2 older children, 1 in college, the other in the Air Force. I love my family and I am motivated to get back the body that I once had, size 9/10, weight 145 - 150. I will even settle for 151 lbs.

Other Information:
*I can do ALL things through CHRIST who strengthens me.
*He who kneels before God can stand before anyone!
*Don't wait for the storm to pass, learn to dance in the rain!
*All the good that belongs to me, comes to me, constantly and instantly!

    Welcome to SparkPeople!! We have similar goals and I know you can do it!! I'm amazed at the motivation that SP gives me, and I've lost over 5 lbs in the three weeks I've been here. AND I started running. I have NEVER been a runner, but I joined the Couch to 5k team and the encouragement there is great. I ran a mile and a half yesterday nonstop, and that is probably the biggest physical accomplishment I've made in my life. I know you can do it too!! Your daughter is adorable. :)
