My goal for 2020 is to lose 20 pounds. In 2019, I lost 30 pounds before falling off the wagon. I gained back 11 pounds, but that means I had a 19 pound loss for the year. That's a Win. Imagine where I could be in 5 years if I lost 20 pounds a year. I'd be at my goal of losing 100 pounds. Would I like to lose all the weight sooner? Of course, but if it takes me 5 years, I'd still have all the weight gone. So, I'm going to focus on losing that first 20 pounds.

Remember the opening song on the Mary Tyler Moor show (1999)? "You can have the town, why don't you take it. You're going to make it after all." Hat thrown in the air. That's my theme song for 2017.

    I was missing your posting! I'm sorry work is overwhelming...have a relaxing weekend to recharge. Brody turned 6 mos old on Wed...he is so much fun. It's like getting to be a mom again cuz I take care of him daily. I love it. Wiggles & giggles!!

    I maintained this week as well. Still learning a lot on this journey which is a good thing. Slow and steady wins the race right?

    Maybe you just need to get into the habit of packing lunch before you go to bed or perhaps while you are cooking diner? I know it's tough when you come home worn out and just want to relax. Coming home exhausted is no fun that is for sure.
