Introduction Text I can choose to be happy or I can choose to be sad. I choose 'happy' - well most of the time.

My goals at to lose about 25 pounds and to get the habit of daiy exercize become ingrained in my life. Also, to have the habit of eating very healty and sensibly become just second nature.



I was born and raised on a farm in South Dakota and for the 54 years of marriage I've lived in Rochester, Minnesota. I still would like to eat like a farmer - good old meat and potatoes diet. That comfort food. I am a voluteer at church in the grief ministry and also the prayer shawl ministry.

Unfortunately, all my hobbies keep me sedentary - counted cross stitch, knitting, crocheting, quilting, reading, My favorite books are mysteries - Patricia Cornwall, Nevada Barr, and other similar authors. The picture of my husband and I with our 6 children is the last one taken of all of us before our daughter died.
