Its how I think when at the grocery store and ice cream call a Me. I can RUN away from that area. I couldn't run before.

Well they SAY we are in the "unofficial Summer" but, as I look outside it's in the 50s and cloudy. Its been a longgggg and cold Spring.

SO does that mean that I should WHINE and COMPLAIN? Well LOL I DO!! BUT!! It's NOT stopping me from being outside, though admittedly I am a WINTAH GAL!!

The tourists are here by the BUS and BOATFULs!! But, hey that's our extra bread and butter so if you are coming to Maine ENJOY!! ENJOY!!!

I started off at 288 in August of 2010. It's NOT been an easy journey!! BUT!! It's sure is worth the while!! I am so THANKFUL for the TONS of support as I lost the weight and it's been a YEAR of being in maintenance!

So WHY would I STILL be on SPARKS a year later? EASY!! I find myself going up by 7 or less pounds, so I KNOW for SURAH that if I do not track, stay accountable, I'll join others who went off into the land of success only to return back here later reworking the steps. I am TO LAZY to have to REWORK them!! LOL huh?

My Goals:
Keep the picture to the left in mind:

CHOOSE MY HARD!!!

I do NOT like freggies (FRuits/vEGGIES) but, they are a necessary part of life. So for the 2019 SUMMAH 5% Challenge here's my obligation to myself (afterall its my body that'll benefit or NOT benefit) is to 3 to 5 times a week I'll eat at least 3 servings. Its a work in progress and this is doable.

For exercise long walks on the beach WOOHOO and around where I live, plus I want to do a small mountain climb!! IF the weather corporates it's scheduled for June 19th!!

Support the AWESOME A team!! WOOHOO a part of the 5% Summer Challenge and also the INVINCIBLE INDIGO Team a part of the Bigger Loser Challenge!! These 2 teams are a perfect balance for me.

My Program:

Personal Information:
I LOVE my family of which includes "the little guy" who is 2 years old. He's the 1st GGS and awww not at ALL SPOILED at Grandma's! LOL Right!!

Have learned cooking is a GREAT means to YUMMY, but much healthier food!! It's not complicated, but still very tasty.

I am OWNED by a brown tabby her name is Izzy, but she's as sweet as they come. Yet, she sure does make me laugh and laugh!! I am so fortunate to live right on the harbor!! What a view!! I am grateful for this.

Just read a SP blog about your journey. Very encouraging to me. And reading your page that you are taking on a challenge related to fruits & veggies! I know I'm not eating enough of them. Congrads on your hard work paying off!

Checking in on my Diane!! How are you?? Just wanted to let you know I finished ANOTHER 5K on Saturday. The race was a trail run. It had rained hard the night before so it was muddy with tree limbs down. It was interesting to say the least. I also was 2 mins. and 13 seconds faster than last year's time. My girlfriend joined me and I kept up with her. This race was a huge change for me - I entered this race on my own. Hubby and the boys were busy. What has come of me??? Huggers...

Thank you for that good advice on the community feed. That's what I'm learning...to spread my workout out over the day. My responsibilities at home require a bunch of sitting, so for the past several weeks I've tried to jump on my rebounder for like 10 minutes at a time or 25 at a time instead of my 50 minutes at once, to get my metabolism working better. Hubby lost 33 pounds in the same 12 weeks, but he gets 20,000 steps in as he does custodial work. So yeah....looks like that's my next thing to try. Move more frequently. THANKS!

Diane--I hope to be back before the challenge starts. I am so confused and torn, I will take some time. I have stayed on track since Sunday.
