Eleven years ago my 1st SparkPeople USERNAME was "ABUSEDIT" as I felt I had done that to my body....

SEPTEMBER 2020 - 125.6 (Regained - 10 lbs. in 13 weeks)
There goes that little visit to Maintenance

JULY 2020 - Weight: 115.6 (Maintenance)
Focus on Strength Training - Emotional and Physical Strength

DH's Dementia's a continuous learning curve, he's home, he's safe, every day's a mystery

JANUARY 2019 - Weight: 146.6

SEPTEMBER 2018 - Weight: 151.6
Took a much needed summer break to reset the mind, I enjoyed so much food, so many treats, no regrets! Brushing myself off and starting all over again with a smile and determination
Returning to the team that's Motivated me "Rowdy Rebels"

JANUARY 2018 - Weight: 138.2
Broke my wrist.... Surgery .... plate ..... pins ... Physio....
Continued exercising intentionally every day just not to the caliber I was able to before...
This "Energizer Bunny will never give up! lol

DECEMBER 2017 - Weight: 139.5
DH diagnosed with Dementia ...I saw it coming .... just didn't want to believe it! ... this great man has exercised everyday for the 45 years we've been together ....is so healthy .... just retired ....the best years of our lives... and they still can be!

SEPTEMBER 2017 - Weight: 146
Cataract Surgery for both eyes ....I followed that with an itty bitty pitty party (Migraines grrrrrr!) as well as a break from everything and anything I could ....
Cataract Surgery for both eyes in December .... Super Duper Vision Now!

AUGUST 2015 - Weight: 140.8
Diagnosed with Osteoporosis
Never drank milk! (Gagged on it!)
Favorite drink of Choice .... Water always since I'm a child

FEBRUARY 2014 - Weight: 153.6
I accidentally injured my left knee, not able to exercise as much awaiting for knee surgery.

DECEMBER 2013 - Weight: 152 - Regained 17
I was was coming down our slanted driveway just a bit of snow and ice ... legs flew up flipped my foot completely sideways broke my right ankle in 3 places ...surgery/plates/screws ....Physio
4 months later they had to remove all appliance in my ankle .... they were affecting my Migraines (go figure ....)

APRIL 2011 - Weight: 135

MAY 2009 - Weight: 185
Needed to get back on my feet and healthy
Googled weight loss program and here my journey started .... getting the feel and understanding the program ....

MAY 2007 - Weight: 189
My Neurologist had spoken to me many times about "Botox Injections for Migraines" and it's success rate .. I was definitely hesitant/scared of the unknown and possible side effect ... every 3 months she injects 22-26 needles in my head/temples
I am finally able to have a normal life!!

APRIL 2006 - Weight: 189
10 years of Pain Medication .. Hospitalizations (Demerol/Morphine ... Neurological Migraine Studies.
Unable to function on a daily basis... bedridden for over 12 years due to Chronic Migraines (averaged 15-22 migraines a month since the age of 16 .. In 1981 after many years of documentation and daily journals the Neurologists pinned down the cause environmental and weather changes)

Weights, Barbell, Kettlebell, Medicine Ball .... all to music love my IPod (I'm easily bored lol)

Married April Fool's day - 45 years ago, 2 Adult Children - 5 Grandchildren ... love being Grand-maman!!!


Other Information:

I've had Gym memberships in the past however since DH's illness my exercises are done at home with him
Never exercised a day in my life until I turned 57
Thrive on Challenging myself!!
