Like most people, I've battled my weight for as long as I can remember. Carbs and sweets are my downfall, and I've had much too much of that for a while now, but overall I eat fairly healthfully. My biggest problem is moving.

I became self-employed two years ago, and I think (1) the stress of that and (2) the desire to get it all done NOW, keeps me at my desk for too much of the day. I know I need to move more; that is my biggest challenge.

6/28/2014: So add to my list of challenges, on 12/31/13 I broke my ankle. Happy New Year, NOT! Surgery to repair 1/14/14, PT, yada yada. Have worked my butt off (literally) since getting back to the gym in April. I'm 13# lighter than at NY's and I'm feeling fitter and stronger. But I ain't done yet!!

My Goals:
To have the outside me better reflect the inner healthy me!

My Program:
1. Dress for success every day! In this case, workout clothes.

I commit to 1 hour of structured exercise 4 days a week. PUT IT ON THE CALENDAR!

2. PUT ON THE TIMER! Every 2 hrs, do a 10-min workout and eat. Try to get some protein in there.

Other Information:
6/13/14 It's been an interesting road since the broken ankle 12/31/13, surgery, PT, etc, but I am so blessed to be back to working out and feeling strong.
