The Final Stretch
The number one motivator I have is to enjoy having pictures taken with my family. I don't want to be the one always worrying about what I look like in a picture, thinking the beautiful picture of my kids is screwed up because I don't think I look decent in it. I want my son and daughter to not wonder where Mom is in all their photographs in their early years. I want to be present not only physically, emotionally, spiritually for them but photographically too! :D

I want my son and daughter to not wonder where Mom is in all their photographs in their early years. I want to be present not only physically, emotionally, spiritually for them but photographically too! :D
12/22/14 After my marathon, things kind of dwindled out exercise wise as the heat came into town and a bit of a foot tweak. When the exercise went down, the bad eating went up. So now I'm a bit up and getting back in gear to where I need to be weight wise and running wise!
1/4/14 - Well 2013 was a bit of a bust - up and down- in the scale department for me. I consciously let myself enjoy and relax during the holidays and am back to stepping it up! That said 2013 was a year of 3 half marathons and I'm hoping to sign up for a marathon in 2014! What?? Heh. I start the Beyond the Scale (BTS) Challenge on Monday to change it up from BLC. Being a maintenance person on BLC didn't work for me as my numbers didn't count. I look forward to the scale taking less focus as I focus on measurements and clothes and general healthiness in this final stretch. I'm still hoping to get to 135 or below but this past year showed me it's very easy to stay in the low 140 range. I'm willing to put in the effort tho! With the New Year I started up P90X3 and still planning on running and added kettlebells!
9/5/13 - Been up and down the same 2 pounds over the last 4 months despite staying steadfast to plan of low calories and lots of cardio. Realized I have been not eating enough and working out too much with little to no true strength training, started eating more (healthy and clean calories) and finally moving back down - 136.8 so far. Going as a MoM for BLC 23 at the end of the month, but still hoping I can pull off a couple more pounds of fat while gaining muscle at crossfit :D
8/21/13 - One week left of BLC 22 and I didn't get to my final goal like I had hoped, but I am just *so* close. Do to how hard these last few pounds are, I have readjusted my final goal to 135 - with hopes of maybe just a few more after that. Still plugging hard and plan to plug harder as the month leads on to BLC 23. I did reach my Master of Maintenance goal and have decided to go into BLC 23 as a MoM as I try to squeak out those last few pounds to see if it's possible! Wish me luck!
4/10/13 Finished BLC 21 with 10.2 pound loss and hit the healthy BMI range at 138.2 - pushing onward trying to hit 125
3/20/2013 - Three weeks left of BLC 21- while I'm not having the same crazy drops as I did last round, I am still steadily albeit slower than I would like, dropping weight. I know I'm in that last 15 pound stretch which is the hardest, but hoping I can keep the forward momentum going.
1/16/2013 - Gained a pound during the Furlough break of BLC. I am very disappointed that I didn't lose the five pounds I fully expected to lose, but since it was over a bunch of holidays, I am pleased that it was just a pound, cause in my eyes, that's maintainence. I hope to push forward with this next round with renewed energy that I lost during the break.
12/10/2012 - Currently finished with BLC 20 and in the break round of Sapphire Furlough. My main goal is to lose some weight over the break this time as opposed to last BLC break (8 weeks) where I gained 4 pounds. I lost over 25 pounds in BLC 20 and while I don't expect to repeat that as I get closer now to goal, I do hope to maximize my efforts through accountability with my Sapphires and BLC mates
8/21/12 - I'm looking forward to starting up my 2nd round of BLC. I was a newbie with BLC 19 as a Sparkling Sapphire and excited (albeit nervous) to be a co-captain for BLC20. I lost about 13.2 pounds for the first round and hope to repeat that and more for BLC 20. I will have some good obstacles, such as anniversary, birthday, holidays to overcome. I have put a few pounds on during the break due to vacations, and hope to have them off by the time BLC20 starts. That's totally doable. I look forward again to the accountability, the challenges and some general butt kicking when I try to let excuses get the better of me!
