MakeYourself A little bit about me personally: My name is Elyssa, or Ellie. I''ve been married for 10 years to a musician and my only love, Joshua - who I never call Josh. We have three amazing boys - Isaiah (9), Daston (10), and my stepson, Braeden (13). I am open minded, passionate, and friendly... But as a Sagittarian, also known to be stubborn, and opinionated. I like tattoos and piercings. I do not like a certain texture of food - like cream styled corn, tapioca pudding, or jello - EW! I work because I have to, but hope one day to be able to work because I am passionate for it. I LOVE going to the gym for a good workout and I love the impact this has had on my life, it''s more than just physical. I live in Ontario, Canada. I collect quotes. I believe our thoughts create our reality, and the Universe moulds it. I am mindful of Karma. I like butterflies. I love music and I love singing even though I really have no talent for it - and I love that my husband encourages me even still. I have no regrets. Sometimes I worry too much. My life is busy, crazy, and hectic but I wouldn''t trade it for anything in the world. I love my husband and 3 boys beyond words. In a nutshell, this is me. "Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail." I have struggled with managing portions, and bingeing - but I feel like I finally have control over this!!! I still struggle with being self conscious and low self esteem, but little by little I am learning to overcome this - I am building confidence. Recently my biggest challenge is time - I work full time, my hubby works full time on an opposite shift to me... working through it. My sons are very active and I will teach them to live a healthy lifestyle - which I can only truly do by being a living example. It''s not just about me anymore... I work out at the gym, and at home. My fav video for home right now is "Biggest Loser Bootcamp" - Bob is making me work for it! "Nothing tastes as good as fit feels!" Anon I am doing a weigh-in every Monday. And on the first of each month, I will weigh-in and take measurements. My Goals:
First of all - I finally found Onederland! And my overall goal is to find somewhere comfortable around 150 to maintain. Hoping I will know when I get there. I will not accept living on 'auto pilot' any longer! I take responsibility, I am making the necessary changes. I will be healthy again - mind and body! I want to be a 'funner' mom, and more exciting wife!

My Program:
* 8 glasses of water daily

* Fruits/veggies, 3+/day

* Exercise: 1000 mins/mth

* Manage stress without food

* Yoga/Meditation - 4+ days a week.

* Strength training is a MUST

*Monthly goal loss: 5lbs

    Ellie - I just weighed in for my 24day challenge and I lost 5.8lbs. Not what I wanted to lose but good enough for me. I still have to measure myself so I hope that goes ok. Walking is not the only thing that is helping me with me losing. I am on the 24day Challenge but I continued it for the full 90 days. It has given me the boost I needed to lose not only weight but inches also.

    I just wanted to let you know that I found your page to be very inspiring. Thank you, also, for the weigh in progress notes. It does me good to see that even someone who has lost so much weight, loses more some months, and less other months. I've had a tough week (I worked my butt off and the scale didn't move one bit..) so it made me feel good to remember that it's a LONG road, and one week can't get me down. Thank you!
