DONT KNOW WHAT 2021 WILL BRING; 2020 SILVER LINING....I GOT MARRIED
2019 was a fabulous year for me. I reached goal with the help of Spark People and Weight Watchers.I also met a very sweet , loving, caring man in February. I widower like me. 2020 will be even better because I will be getting married to my best friend and love of my life, Ken.
In 2021 I will continue my walking, healthy eating, and drinking water and of course Weight Watchers.
I WILL DO IT!!!

I started SparkPeople seriously in December of 2008 weighing the highest I ever weighed. I joined a few teams and set goals. I tracked my food faithfully each day, and the lbs. started coming off. I even overdid the eating a few times but still lost weight. I WAS SO EXCITED! I could not believe this was happening. I had a zillion diet books home, but they were too restricting and difficult to follow. In a few months I had lost 16 lbs. eating REGULAR food. I also made some wonderful friends on the teams I joined. My friends gave me motivation, enthusiasm, and pushed me on when I was stuck. I had not started exercising yet. But my team was not going to let me get away with that. One of the leaders kept trying to get me to walk. I resisted or only did it halfheartedly. Then I found the Leslie Sansone DVDs Walk Away The Pounds and I was hooked. I was down 20 lbs. My clothes looked great on me, I was able to get off of one of my blood pressure medications, and I had 8 lbs to go to goal!
Then I somehow lost my motivation and a few lbs. slowly crept back on and then a few more. I was devastated, I purchased the SPAT and found myself walking 6,000 just about every day and then 7500! I am thrilled because walking has now become a habit. .I did well on the 5% Fall Challenge but the holidays have me up some again. I am hoping and BELIEVING that the Winter 5% Challenge will help me maintain at the goal I am at now and maybe lose a wee bit more this coming year 2019.
