Starting the 5% Winter Challenge as a Determined Daisy. I am so ready to be on maintenance now. of my weight. Probably at the end of this Challenge. I plan to log in my food, walk, and drink my water.
The good thing is I am in a walking routine of at least 9-10K a day using my FitBit Tracker.
I WILL DO IT!!!
^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*
I started SparkPeople seriously in December of 2008 weighing the highest I ever weighed. I joined a few teams and set goals. I tracked my food faithfully each day, and the lbs. started coming off. I even overdid the eating a few times but still lost weight. I WAS SO EXCITED! I could not believe this was happening. I had a zillion diet books home, but they were too restricting and difficult to follow. In a few months I had lost 16 lbs. eating REGULAR food. I also made some wonderful friends on the teams I joined. My friends gave me motivation, enthusiasm, and pushed me on when I was stuck. I had not started exercising yet. But my team was not going to let me get away with that. One of the leaders kept trying to get me to walk. I resisted or only did it halfheartedly. Then I found the Leslie Sansone DVDs Walk Away The Pounds and I was hooked. I was down 20 lbs. My clothes looked great on me, I was able to get off of one of my blood pressure medications, and I had 8 lbs to go to goal!

Then I somehow lost my motivation and a few lbs. slowly crept back on and then a few more. I was devastated, I purchased the SPAT and found myself walking 6,000 just about every day and then 7500! I am thrilled because walking has now become a habit. .I did well on the 5% Fall Challenge but the holidays have me up some again. I am hoping and BELIEVING that the Winter 5% Challenge will help me maintain at the goal I am at now and maybe lose a wee bit more this coming year 2019.

    Dorothy,

The body model site I used is:

    http://www.mvm.com/en/index.php

The Prevention Magazine site also has one, although it only offers models with bathing suits. I like the dressed ones better. Also, the mvm site allows you to choose a background if you want. Have fun!

Dorothy - The font is Arial, but it doesn't give a size. You can get it just under the color wheel on your edit page. I'll try to spend some time today looking for the body model web site in my internet history. Hopefully it will be there.

    I'll be in touch!

Thanks for visiting my page! I can't remember where I found the body model - there is a web page that you imput your current body and your goal body and it generates the models. I'll try to find it again and let you know. How is it going for you? Are you finding everything ok? If you need help, just ask!

Don't forget to huddle on the Writer's for Weightloss!
