March 26, 2011 - I'm a 25 year-old girl, who, scared by the approach of the 30's, wants to, as a 2011 goal, learn definitively how to live a healthy (but not obsessed) lifestyle. I can easily get into a short-lasting obsession, but that won't do this time.

I like reading, listening to music (especially jazz and opera) and watching movies. My favorite sports are bike riding and running. 
I'm an accomplished amateur running - not the fastest one, but a persistent one who likes training. I rediscovered my love for the sport and my city running in its streets. I already have three half marathons and countless 10k races in my résumé.

Two years ago, I jumped from 50kg to 68kg mostly due to an accident and loads of stress during college. That's a bit too much for someone around 5'5". I lost 16kg in about 4 months, but I wasn't prepared to maintain it. Now I'm back to 62kg I intend to lose 12kg and KEEP IT THAT WAY.

Fitness Minutes: 7,457

My Goals:
- Lose 12kg;
- Exercise everyday for at least an hour;
- Stop eating all that crap and junk (or at least moderate it!);
- Add activity to my daily routine;
- Live forever healthy.

My Program:
- 1200 kcal diet;
- Back to running! I already booked one or two races per month this year to keep track of my training.
- Running; 5 times/ week (sun/mon/tue/thu/sat);
- Weight-lifting: 3 times/ week (mon/wed/fri).

Personal Information:
I'm an economist who loves reading good literature, watching European movies and listening to jazz. My favorite sport is running, makes me feel so alive! I also would like to start boxing someday, but right now I can't fit the classes into my available time.

    OMG, an upcoming marathon, what fun! I know you are ready. Do you do the leed up training 10 days before including the carb loading the day before? This will be sure to get you warmed up. YES, I love yoga! I'm totally not coordinated like the yogis are but I feel amazing and sleep so peacefully. I love their outfits too! Thanks for your great advice, I'll check out the iTunes yoga. Do you use an iPod for the marathon? It's a must for me...I get bored on long runs. Sometimes I listen to books. I put my machine away for the summer but keeping my crochet project handy. I love the sence of satisfaction I receive from creating. Thanks for being such a great friend emoticon

    How's everything in your world? The temp here has cooled down a bit, just enough so I can run outdoors the next three days and very happy about that. I think my yoga is helping me in all areas including running and weight training! Are you training for any upcoming races? emoticon
