Plateaus are very frustrating. In order for the scale to move in the right direction, I had to stop all exercise. It seems that every time I try to lose weight, I do really well in the beginning, then as soon as I add in exercise of any kind (including just walking), I start to gain weight. I have read many articles that support this phenomena, so I am not the only one. Try it for a week or so, and see if you too have this problem. I commented here because it isn't a very popular thing to tell someone to stop exercising in order to lose weight. It couldn't hurt to try. 1490 days ago
