Hello, Sparkers! Thank you so much for visiting my Spark page! I'm Jennifer, a 52-year-old married Texan with two children and two step-children. And a grandbaby on the way!

I joined SP on January 1, 2011, and it has been such a wonderful experience. I simply LOVE this site! It is filled with wonderful, supportive people and lots of great information, resources and tools. And most of all, I love the support of my Spark friends.

In 2011 and 2012, I lost 100 pounds. I am here to do it again. But this time for good! Most of all, I want to learn the habits to live a healthy and fit life.

Action Steps:

1. Achieve 600+ monthly fitness minutes.

2. Eat healthy, balanced diet (whole grain, lean protein, low-fat dairy, heart-healthy fat, and 5+ servings fruits and veggies daily).

3. Drink 8+ glasses of water daily.

4. Sleep 8+ hours nightly.

5. Log on to SP daily.



Personal Information:
I'm Jennifer from Texas. I am a wife, a mother of two, and a math teacher. My goal in 2011 was to lose 100 pounds (goal met). My 2019 goal is to lose 100 pounds again, and keep the weight off for good.

    You may not remember me, but I too, was on SP from 2010-2016. I got off the site, thinking I could "manage with LESS Time on the internet and more time to Exercise." All well and good, except, so many things happened. My sister passed away, 74 years old, June 2016, and then MEDICALLY I was a mess. Breast Cancer, Radiation, Breast Reduction, and Three Large Hernias, stretching across my midriff! YUCK!!!! I am currently scheduled for One More Surgery, March 4, 2020. So I decided to Get Back To SparkPeople and "Get R Done!" And Finish what I started.

    I am so pleased, that I was able to find you from my Old Vision Board Records I kept, but sadly, all my old information was deleted. So I am now trying to Re-Enter All My Nutritional Information from My Pantry and My Refrigerator, thus I know I will be consistent with my records.

    Again, so glad to find you. We will "Get R Done" together this time! PS Hope you don't mind, I added you as a SPFriend! Hugs my friend.....We Got This!!!
