My Goals For April:
1. Daily morning meditation and yoga. Daily. No. Matter. What
2. 120 oz of water each day, minimum. That's only 3 bottles. 15 cups. No excuses.
3. A long walk (maybe in the morning?) a day, as much as possible, weather permitting.
4. A strength training video or routine at least 3 days a week.
5. Breakfast and snacks every single day. Get back to better nutrition. You deserve it!
6. Read 30-60 minutes each night. Crush that TBR list!
7. Write 2,000 words per day. No excuses! This is your dream, get it!

I am a 30-something mom of four Earth side, 4 angels, and one in the belly.

I am a wife, a photographer, a writer, a crafter (cross-stitch and crochet) and a new-found fitness enthusiast.

We lost Baby #5 just 7 hours after birth to an undiagnosed "rare" birth defect called CDH (congenital diaphragmatic hernia), followed closely by 2 early miscarriages before her first birthday.

Our miracle rainbow baby is set to arrive in July 2020. IT'S A GIRL!

Almost all my life, I've struggled with my weight, food, exercise and body image. But about two years ago, I joined a gym that changed all that. I have since left that gym, but still continue to eat a mostly healthy plant-based diet and work out 5 days a week.

I work to care for and nourish my body, pushing it to new levels of fitness, rather than punishing it today for what it couldn't do yesterday.

My Goals:
To raise my kids to know how to take care of their bodies properly, to love healthy meals and fitness. To be fit and active myself, no matter what my size may be. To love, nourish and protect my own body in every state it's in.


My Program:
Well, guys, things have changed and like most of you, my gym has closed indefinitely. So, I'm forced to make time to work out from home. Not an easy task, but one I'm working on daily.

Still continuing to eat as plant-based as possible, though that's been tough, too. I'm still trying to get between 1800 and 2000 calories per day.

    I share your pain over the things our kids are missing with school closing unexpectedly. We just keep telling ourselves that it will make a great story, years from now - maybe more interesting that the stories would have been of the routine events we had expected. Hang in there!
