Introduction Text UPDATE 1/28/2019***** More time has come and gone and I am still in the battle of losing weight. I have gained almost all of the weight that I lost in 2016 back. That makes me so mad at myself, which then creates the vicious cycle of mentally beating myself up, and when I am emotional I eat. Well I need to stop. I know that is easier said than done, but it is going to stop. I have had time to think and watch myself lose the weight and become outgoing and active to going back to my old ways. I miss who i was back then, but she is there I just need to find her again. UPDATE6/19/2017***** I have continued on a weight loss journey and it has been a very interesting journey. I have tried many things but the only thing working for me is the VLCD (very low calorie diet) I lost a total of 107 pounds in 7 months through diet and exercise. I however have not followed my transition to a higher calorie diet very well. I stopped working out and I ate to much. I have gain 52 pounds back. I then was on the emotional roller coaster of beating myself up for being a failure. But I am ready to get back on this journey. It won't be easy but I know I can do it. I have a great support system at home and I have an amazing spark family that I know is in my corner. I want to lose those 52 pounds by Christmas and then lose the final 60 by my birthday next year. I am hoping to lose the 112 by next July! I will do this, I have to do this! I graduated high school 17 years ago and I am almost 200lbs heavier then the day I graduated. I am tired of sitting on the bench of life, I am ready to get back in and play. I am a huge sports fan, I love to be active sailing, and swimming, and biking, and walking my dog. I don't do alot of these things because I am embarrassed about my weight. Today that changes and I am ready for this new chapter of my life. I have tried many diet plans and exercise plans, I make progress and then I make one slip up and then I go back to my old ways because I failed.

To become active in my life. I have 4 nieces that I want to be the best auntie I can be for them!

I am on a medically supervised VLCD, (Very low calorie diet) health plan. I work closely with my doctor, a nutritionist, and a physiologist. I am on this for 16-18 weeks, and then I will transition off of my supplements and to healthy food for 6 weeks. I will Increase my calories from 600 to 850 until I hit my goal weight, then I will go into maintenance.

I am Samantha, I am from Wisconsin, and I am a manager for a men's formal wear store. I have been with the same company for over 10 years!
