My new dream? To change my world, one word at a time. Had the great privilege to hear John Maxwell and now I'm mega stoked! I'd rather invest into people, encourage them, than be a wet blanket. As a licensed Zumba trainer I've learned a whole lot more about how the body handles what life throws at it. Yep, I'm a tad OCD, but if your body really IS the temple of the living God, and He really died to give us ABUNDANT life, don't you think we owe it to Him to pay more attention to what we do with it?

My Goals:
Strenth - spirit soul and body. And bring others with me on that strength journey. I'm so thankful for my SparkBuds! What a blessing.

My Program:
Love the vids posted here, love Zumba, like to switch up my exercise program since the body gets used to moves pretty fast. So... I occasionally throw in some hoola hooping - yep, it's not just a 70's thing, it's way back in vogue! I promise! -
with some basic strength training moves for good measure.

Personal Information:
Originally from across the pond, sometimes I spell funny so please forgive me. My official website is karigraceplace.com, but it's down right now. I'm interested in feedback on the ramblings I post, so if you do happen to come across this page please let me know your thoughts.

Other Information:
I have a lot of interests in life, not the least of which is fitness. Writing is a passion, I'm enjoy photography, and love pretty much anything to do with water. Oh, and reading - I really really love a good book. Last year I was given a Kindle Fire - oh yeah! And horses. Always wanted to own one. Strong, and beautiful, two attributes I greatly admire.

Hi Kari. Thank you for asking to be emoticon s. I'd be happy to help guide you in your writing. SparkMail me any time with your questions or problems and please consider joining one or both of the writing teams I co-lead. There you can read tips and questions others have. One basic rule: A writer writes. Don't get hung up on books; that's only one of more than two dozen ways to earn money writing I can think of right off. Until we talk again remember: emoticon emoticon -- Lou

    Hi Kari,
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I've never had any real "schooling" regarding poetry - we had an assignment when I was back in grade school and I discovered that putting words together (especially rhyming words) came very easily to me. I've always been an avid reader and over these many years I have enjoyed the works of many "poets" - published and not.

Most of the poets have a passion for a particular subject: Thoreau and Frost write about nature, the Bronte sisters wrote under pseudonyms so as not to be considered "unfeminine," etc.

So I guess to answer your question, the best way to learn about poetry is to read it. Look up the lyrics to songs (many of them started as poems)...

    I hope this helps.

Thank you for my goodie and for adding me as a friend. It's been a rough day. I get cycles of headaches and had been without for a couple of weeks. Today I am experiencing a migraine and feeling very tired. Your goodie brought a smile! God bless, Kim
