Introduction Text After a life time of battling my weight, I want to stop the insanity and make permanent lifestyle changes. I'm starting a long journey to lose 125 pounds and gain fitness and energy Update 6/2011. After successfully losing 75 pounds on this program I was put on bed rest to see if it would clear up a knee issue. I regainedn35 of those pounds and then floundered for a year with weight watchers where I got 15 of them off. Then I had stomach issues and much medical testing later discovered that I had a stomach obstruction and damage from a 1997 surgery and just had to have a roux n y bypass to remove the damage. Yikes, I never would have chosen surgery but I had to have it. I am grateful that I first learned here that I am responsible for my actions, moving feels good , food is for health and that my normal will always be monitoring what I eat .

My main focus now is to make sure I track my food and water intake. Ultimately I want to lose 125 pounds and have plenty of energy to live my days on earth to the fullest

I am logging food and water every day. I am working with my trainer to add regular exercise as my body can handle it. I am learning 1. patience and 2. the tools available to keep my motivation high to stay at this long term

I live in Texas with my spouse, grown son and my cat. I am passionate about quilting. My life goals include doing and learning something new every year.
