Introduction Text CHECK OUT MY BLOG FOR AN UPDATE!!!!! I have (up until now) always been what you would call thin or skinny. I was on the dance team in high school, and I usually maintained a weight of about 125-135. I could always eat anything I wanted without gaining a pound. But, the past few years I've noticed a steady gain in weight, going from 137 in 2006 to 160 now. I didn't realize how much weight I had put on until I was looking at some pictures from Christmas of '06 and then some from a couple weeks ago...and I look like I have doubled in size. That's when I decided I needed to make a change. I plan on marrying my boyfriend someday, and I want to be able to look amazing in a wedding dress. I want to be in shape so that when I have children some day, I can chase them around without getting tired. I know I can accomplish all my goals if I work hard enough. UPDATE: Well, it took FOREVER, but I am finally down to 145... I still want to lose another 10 pounds or at least get more toned. I started the P90x program on Jan. 25th, and it is INTENSE!! I can already feel myself getting stronger after only a few workouts. And the biggest shock EVER: My sister, who always made fun of me for wanting to be fit, and my bf, who is lazy (LOL) are also doing it, so I have lots of motivators :)

I want to set some healthy goals for my body, I want to be fit, and I want to look good. I want to be able to play with my little niece and nephew without getting tired.

No sugar, no soda. Drink lots of water. Workout 6 days a week. That's it! Try not to obsess over being model thin... FINISH THE P90X PROGRAM
