This moment, this year, will be the one, the one I know I will look back on and say, right there, right then everything changed for me!

I want my outside to match my inside. And I want my inside to grow more and more as my outside shrinks.

This is my year! My time to shine!

I've been so busy the last 15 years of my life, making sure everyone else was taken care of I completely forgot to take care of me.

Basically never thought about it. I was so busy keeping things together, that I didn't even realize 'I' was missing out of my life. I had a really ruff year last year, the worst, but as a result of a domino effect in my life, I had to face myself.

What personal goals do I have that don't have to do with anyone else besides me?

What do I want out of my life?

What do I want my children to remember about their mom when they are all grown up?

I had to make myself accountable for the things I COULD control, that I've been avoiding or making excuses for.

~ I quite smoking in Jan, a horrible habit I started when I was 13

~ I started my weight loss-fitness life change at the end of March 08

I need to get this weight off, I have no idea what it would feel like to be a thin/fit adult, I've always been the squishy mommy. I don't even know what my face would look like at my goal weight, but I'm going to find out!

I am COMMITTED! And that means I'm not giving up! Now that "I'm" back in my life, I will never ignore myself again!

Fitness Minutes: 236

My Goals:
~I want to be able to run, really run~
~I want to be able to ruff house with my boys without being afraid I'll get hurt~
~I want to be able to shop at a real store, not a plus size one~
~I want little underpants, not granny panties~
~I want to get my dancer body back that I had as a teen~
~I want to get to the half way mark by the end of Aug 08~
~I want to be able to jump rope for 20 min~
~I want to get to my goal weight by April 09~
~I want to wear a sexy dress!~

My Program:
~Making sure I don't skip meals ~
~Making sure I hit the higher calorie end of my spark calorie range~
~ Work out with weights 2 days a week
~HIIT with jump rope around 3+ days a week, Cycle - Swim~
~Balance ball- Palliates~
~Drinking lots of water~
~Eating mainly whole foods~
~Staying away from sugar~

Personal Information:
I've been overweight all of my adult life. I was a teen mother with our first 2 children, and then had 3 right in a row in the beginning of my 20's. I have not been under 200lbs since I was 17 as a result. I'm looking forward to being in the best shape of my life!!!!!!

Other Information:
I've been with my husband for 17 years, 14 married.

Our kids are 15,14,9,8, and 7

We live and play in Florida's West coast

    Welcome to the Iron Maidens team! Sounds like you have a plan and are implementing it! YAY for you! It sounds like you are going to get more and more active.

    I also see you're a swimmer, we have an awesome, supportive swim team called swimming for cardio. You are heartily invited to come join us. We're a real eclectic bunch and most of us do multiple sports. So if you are ever searching for another team to join also, check it out.

    Thanks so much for your comment on my page! It was so nice of you to drop by. It looks as if you're doing a great job yourself. 26 pounds gone forever...way to go! It came off pretty easy for me as well, but now that I'm at this stage of the game, I find I have to watch those old urges on the night time snacking. I guess that's the burden I have to bear for loving the taste of food so much! LOL

    Take care, and keep up the great work! I will now draw my inspiration from you. I admire anyone who can jump rope! That's one I'm still working on.

    Hey thanks so much Jen! Yeah I don't know, once I set my mind that yes it's coming off, I havn't found it to be hard. I guess because I'm truely commitied to it, and when you are really commitied, well then you just do it. You can't fail. I'm enjoying things I never thought I would or could, and it's really exciting! It's funny how others can react both good and bad to self improvment though. I have had reactions like, oh so you can't enjoy food anymore etc.. I enjoy food MORE now. And really love working out. Thanks for writing to me! emoticon
