I did manage to lose 40 pounds in 2019. Unfortunately, I have not been diligent in keeping it off. I took a major back slide after a rotator cuff repair and a death in the family. Well, enough excuses. I want health and wellness to be a real priority this coming year. I have been married 26 years. We have a 16 year old son, and 1 dog. My dog is a blind, geriatric beagle with diabetes. I am a Registered nurse working in Case Management.

My Goals:
long term goal is to loose 87 pounds by 12/31/20
short term goal - I will set my short term goals for periods of no more then 30 days.
Starting December 30 I will decrease my weight by 2 lbs a week through 1/27/20.

My Program:
plan for week 2 redo action plan for week 1. can not add to it unless I do it.
week 1 assessment started strong and finished weak. weekends are rough. What did i learn, evening snacking and impulse snacking are my dig down fall. absolutely no impulse control after a Margarita.
week 1 - I will record all caloric intake 5 days a week on spark people
I will wear my fit bit at least 5 days a week
I will take a 10 minute walk at least 3 days a week on the treadmill or outside depending on the weather.
Every Monday I will evaluate my progress and add lifestyle changes 1 or 2 at a time to facilitate long term participation and success.

Personal Information:
I What do I want health improvement to look like for me?
decrease weight, decrease aching joints. I want to tie my sneakers without difficulty. I want to fit better in movie theater seats and other public seating. I want to go up 2 flights of stays without panting. I want to wear cloths that fit instead of hiding in "extra roomy" tents. I want to be able to stand anywhere in a family picture, instead of trying to hid at least half my body behind someone. I want to sleep without wearing a c pap. I am do not want to be the fat girl with the pretty face. I want to live a long healthy active life. I want to decrease my risk of life threatening crippling illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes and stroke. I want more energy.
