Update 04/23/2020
I am Motivator of the Day! I did not even know, it was pointed out to me.
Health wise, I am social distancing, but some workmen have had to come in the house. I am being cautious but not fearful. I have the issues associated with not doing well with the Covid-19 virus. Dh still goes to work, but half the week, works from home. He is being cautious, as well.
I continue to improve. I will see my doctor in June and get the official verdict from the lab reports. In the meantime, I am sticking to the plan.
Update 03/24/2020
My goal this year was to gain health. It is March and I am gaining my health back slowly. The whole food plant based, low sodium, low sugar and low fat diet is the main thing that is helping.
I got off of one blood pressure medication, but still taking another. I have not been able to exercise much, but I got shots in my back last week and my back feels better, so that helps, as well. Now I can exercise more.
Life is improving as I inch my way to age 70.

Update 12/31/2019
I look with excitement on every new year. This one seems more special because it is also a new decade. 2020... will we have new vision in our lives? I am counting on it.
Now I stand confident in my ability to keep on my plant based path. It has not been easy. I have learned to enjoy cooking most of my meals. Dh has come along with me but still eats junk. I have not seen the results I want health wise, but I do feel better and have more energy. Still taking meds and lost a few pounds. I read some stories of going on this way of eating and one lost 40 pounds in 90 days! Yes, I am jealous. However, I am older with health issues that are not easily addressed.
I am thankful I can walk, talk, see and hear.
I plan to get back to painting soon, so that will be something new for the new year. I have given up on my Cricut hobby and will try to sell my machine and supplies. It is still popular.

Update, November 18, 2019. I have more energy. Could be the CPAP or could be the vegan diet? Also I have lost 5 pounds. But I had gained previously and now am in this whole food plant based low sodium no oil low sugar for the long haul. I want to be off meds by my birthday in November, 2020. Labs in January will tell the tale.

I am now on a CPAP every night. I don't know why I resisted for all these years. Yes, I have sleep apnea and now feel more energized.

I am now vegan since the end of May, 2019 and working on health one problem at a time. Hopefully the weight will come off once I get healthy. I have been up and down in that regard. Now up. Many reasons. One is that I am unable to exercise as I wish, but am getting that worked out. So far, I am able to do more! Isn't that fabulous?

I am learning that thoughts and words become reality, so watching my thoughts and what comes out of my mouth.

My Goals:
Continue on my path of eating plant-based and working on my various health issues. By age 70, I plan to be off at least some medicine, if not ALL. Dare to dream, but work your plan.



My Program:
I switched to vegan May, 2019, discovering it only will work if you eat high complex carbohydrates and lots of fiber foods. So far, it is working for my health. I feel better! Don't eat vegan "junk" which is those substitute meats and cheeses, they are bad for you.
