Hi. Thanks for checking out my Spark Page. I'm Eileen and people call me Ei or IRISH. I live in Ohio!

I am in the PROCESS of reviewing my written Goals and updating them. I will Focus on Small Changes one at a time.

My Goals:
1. To lose the weight needed for a healthier life.

2. Plan ahead + track meals, use portion control , plan my snack for the day.

3. Exercise at Silver sneaker classes or home

4. Drink 8 glasses of water daily

5. Eat 3 veggies + 3 fruits

6. Eat whole grains, poultry + fish

7. Get 7-8 hrs of sleep each night

8. Get needed rest daily. Do not overextend myself

9. To feel better each day as my goals are reached. Making sure to focus on plan.

10. To be well enough to continue to enjoy my grandchildren and spend time with them.THey are growing up
so fast.

My Program:
Currently following the WW plan + freestyle

I use my Recreation center for classes, walking track, and treadmill.
Go back to using the SPINNER once my doctor allows me to.

When not at the gym, plan at home dvd or walking outdoors on nice day.

Remember to PRAY + Thank God daily for all my blessings, follow his Will + guidance in all things. Without HIM I am nothing. My faith is very important to me.

Personal Information:

I have 3 wonderful adult children, one son and two daughters. I also have 3 grandchildren that I enjoy spending time with and taking care of when needed. They are a JOY to me.
I volunteer at my church, love to read, play games and cards and spend time with friends and family.

I have some health problems and this keeps me from doing as much as I used to. I do the BEST I can each day and make sure to stay active doing something physical even when I am unable to go to the Y or the Rec. center. I always say, I can't complain, some have things much worse than me. I am really blessed.

Other Information:
"Become the best version of yourself"
Matthew Kelly

"Be, Boldy, The Real You" Jim Smith
"Happiness is a mode of travel, not a destination. Enjoy the ride." Jim Smith

"Read the Psalms. No matter what your faith, they cover every human emotion." Regina Brett

"Do something nice for someone else---and don't tell anyone about it." Richard

Erma Bombeck: No One Diets on Thanksgiving. What we're really talking about is a wonderful day set aside on the fourth Thursday of November when no one diets. I mean, why else would they call it Thanksgiving?

Start with 1 T in 8-12 oz of water before you eat once a day. It helps with digestion. No more than 2 T. a day, until you see how you like it. Google has all kinds of info on it. We buy Bragg's Apple cider vinegar. It's the best raw and organic. We do ours first in the morning when we get up. Drinking 2 cups of water when you get up is a good thing anyway, so we put the acv in it. Taking 1-2 T. at night helps Type 2 diabetics with blood sugar control. So you could split it up eventually one at am, one at night. Weight loss is possible, some say yes, others no. I know I lost weight as time went on. Along with the green tea I drank too. Of course, I've always counted calories and exercised.
I hope you take a good multivitamin too.
Going gluten free (wheat, rye, barley, oats) 4 years ago helped us lose 20 pounds the first 4 months. That took me to my 100 pound weight loss goal. Realized by doing GF we were both gluten intolerant. Gluten causes inflammation and bad for ones with arthritis. So maybe try that for a month, see if you feel better. Anyone who loses weight from going GF gets a leaner look, lose inches. Our faces went from a puffy look to lean looking. It was amazing! Look up Dr. Josh Axe and Dr. Joel Wallach about Going gluten free and how bad gluten is and why. Really eye opening. It causes asthma and mine is gone as of 2 years ago!!! emoticon
Thanks for the goodie. Basically we aren't doing any gatherings with friends or family right now, until vaccine.
