Introduction Text I'm a wife and a mother of 3 grown children, both my husband and I are retired and enjoying life. I've been a member of Spark People for many years and now have become a much more active member. Its time for me to focus on myself a little more, lose the extra weight, control my diabetes and take charge of my life. I enjoy gardening, reading, rubber stamping, and all kinds of music.

Lose weight, 150 is my eventual goal weight, but my current short term goal is to be under 200 by January 1, 2018. I want to be more active and try new things that being overweight has denied me. Getting my diabetes under control is an important part of reaching my goals.

Low carb, under 20 carbs daily and exercising daily
