I continue on a long, long plateau which I jut broke through in Feb. I am not looking for the ideal weight but I am looking for a weight that I can be comfortable with. My goal did have a long term date involved but I will re-set as the time comes near. So let's just say I am a work in progress and I am enjoying life to the fullest right now. I have had several set backs with family losses, my health & disabilities but I am working on doing a little pushing! Pools & water are my love but got little time there this winter. Even though I didn't do as I hoped, I made a very important goal to me and now have my sight set on a smaller and doable goal of 16#. I have spent 28 yrs in TX. & planning to return to MN. in the spring as we usually do. I now need to take care of me and lower my stress sources.
I am so thrilled to have gotten this far and hope that I can con't. to stay on a healthy path of life.

Glad you liked the Free Hugs video! The others are good as well, but the original is still the best to me!

Sounds like we are about the same age and have the same ideas about life. I used to think I wanted to be wealthy. DH would say he wanted to retire in a nice RV, and I would tell him he could park it behind my mansion, lol. Our year of wandering, following wherever his job led just to keep enough money to live on coming in convinced me that one can live well without wealth or luxury, and in fact without what a lot of people consider necessities, but that having a nest egg is a lot more comfortable mentally. Since our retirement funds were spent trying to stay afloat when the economy took a nose dive, we have a little more work to do before we can go play full time. But at least we're in a position now to take time off here and there and do things that we want to do. Also, DH says the job he has now is the least stressful he's ever had, and I'm pretty content with my daily life, too, so it's all good.
